  • CARING FOR YOUR JEWELRY:

    Our items are made of sterling silver and solid 14k gold and will occasionally require cleaning. Tarnishing of sterling silver is completely normal and can always be cleaned and polished away. Following the steps listed below will get your jewelry looking new again.

    Steps we recommend for cleaning your silver and gold jewelry:

    1. Soak in warm water with mild soap to remove any residue. Rinse thoroughly.

    2. Use a liquid tarnish remover and small brush to get in any grooves. (Make sure to follow individual product directions and do not soak for an extended period of time.) Rinse thoroughly.

    3. Finish by rubbing with a polishing cloth for a bright and shiny finish.

  • Silver tarnish is oxidation that most commonly occurs from air. Different environments can affect how and when tarnishing will occur. Tarnishing can happen faster if sterling silver comes in contact with certain chemicals, detergents or cosmetics. Even a person’s body chemistry can cause tarnishing in silver jewelry.

    To keep tarnish from occurring we do not recommend wearing your jewelry in chlorine. Storing in an airtight container or plastic bag when not wearing will also help slow down the process.

    Please note, the heat combined with chlorine in a hot tub can cause tarnish to happen quickly and dramatically and then may need to be buffed off by a jeweler.

  • Orders are shipped via USPS. Items are individually packaged and placed inside a padded shipping envelope or box. We are proud to ship items as quickly as possible but if the order is time sensitive please select an expedited shipping option. Delivery estimates are provided but not guaranteed. Once a package is dropped off with USPS it is out of our hands.

    Orders over $200 have a slightly increased shipping change and a signature is required for delivery.

  • Buyer is responsible for return shipping costs and any loss in value if an item isn't returned in original condition.

    We offer refunds to the original method of payment if we receive the item within 30 days of delivery. Original shipping costs are not included.

    To receive credit the jewelry must be:

    -Sent back within 30 days of the delivery date.

    -Unworn and in the original box

    -In resalable condition. We check our products before shipment for damage. It is your responsibility to email us if you receive a defective item before returning item.

    Damaged/Wrong Item Received:

    If you believe you received a damaged or wrong item, please email us at jewelcraftcapecod@gmail.com with your order number and a description of what is damaged/incorrect. Please keep in mind that most of our items are handmade and minor differences from the picture is normal and expected. Please note that tarnishing is normal and not considered a defect.

  • - Make sure item is securely packaged and in its original box.
    - Include the printed sales invoice.
    - You are responsible for the return shipping method and payment.
